Ankusha Nathoo

Associate-Barrister

Ankusha is a barrister at the firm. She has worked as a legal assistant at Juristconsult Chambers for one year and completed her pupillage at Juristconsult Chambers in 2016, before being admitted to the Bar of Mauritius in January 2017. Ankusha holds a “Licence Droit et Science Politique” and a “Master 1 Droit Privé Général” from the University of Bordeaux Montesquieu, France. She then completed her Graduate Diploma in Law and the Bar Professional Training Course at BPP University Law School, London, UK. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales at the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in July 2015.

Prior to joining the firm, Ankusha has worked as an associate at TM&S Gujadhur Chambers for two years and has acquired experience in advisory works and financing transactions (mostly multinational banks as lenders and occasionally borrowers) on instructions from magic circle and other large law firms.
Ankusha’s practice covers all aspects of civil, corporate and commercial law with particular focus on banking and finance, private equity and investment funds.
